Introduction

This is an official Volvo Amazon Convertible on registration, the car was rolled off the production line in 1965 as a normal Volvo Amazon and converted to a convertible about 20 years ago. This car was imported to the Netherlands in 2022. The original color gray (color 80) looks very nice on the convertible.

Exterior

The car stands on a nice set of widened rims with good tires. All doors close neatly. During the conversion to the convertible, the car was reinforced by heavy beams on the underside of the car. All doors can simply be opened and closed, so they are not welded. The car needs further restoration, we would like to get in touch with you to discuss the possibilities of a restoration according to your wishes.

Interior

The interior is currently executed in a cream color. The interior can still be fully addressed, so it is still possible to exhibit your own wishes / preferences. We are happy to discuss the enormous amount of possibilities with you.

Technical

The car is equipped with the well-known B18 engine with single Stromberg carburetor. The engine is in good condition, provides sufficient compression on all cylinders and will still deliver approximately the original power. Coupled to the four-speed manual transmission, the car easily gets its place and can safely participate in today’s traffic, inserting, exiting and or overtaking will not be a problem at all. The car is currently equipped with a Simons sports exhaust which makes the car sound great. The suspension is standard but in fine condition and the brakes work well.

We check all cars through the Lotte Periodic Inspection List (LPK). This list contains more than 50 technical points based on which the car is checked and logged. With this list we are able to give you a clear and transparent picture of this car. The LPK list is available on request for this car.
