Introduction
This is an original 122S in the rarer 4-door version from 1966. The combination of the white exterior (original color 79) with the black interior gives the car a beautiful classic appearance. The Simons exhaust and widened steel rims, on the other hand, give the car a slightly tougher look. The car is in very good condition both technically and optically.
Exterior
The body is in neat condition and the paint is in very good condition. The car stands on a neat set of widened steel rims with tires that are in good condition. All doors close neatly. The chrome is all around is generally very good condition, in many places the car is equipped with new chrome. All rubbers are present and in good condition. The widened steel rims in combination with the Simons exhaust give the car a somewhat tougher look.
Interior
The interior is in good condition. The front seats are equipped with headrests and offer good support. The car is equipped with a 123GT dashboard cover. The dashboard (including the dashboard cover) are in very good condition. The door panels and the headliner are in look very neat. A more recent type of radio with bluetooth has been placed under the original radio in the car, This newer radio is therefore not placed in the original recess, here is still an original classic type of radio present.
Technical
The car is equipped with the well-known B20 engine with single Zenith carburetor. The engine is in good condition, provides sufficient compression on all cylinders and will still deliver approximately the original power. Coupled to the four-speed manual transmission, the car easily gets its place and can safely participate in today’s traffic, inserting, exiting and or overtaking will not be a problem at all. The suspension is standard but in fine condition and the brakes work well. The car sounds a bit tougher than a standard Amazon due to the placement of the Simons sports exhaust.
