Matching numbers, restored, upgraded, original, beautiful color combination.

Introduction

This is a beautiful example from 1970 which was partly restored by us in 2020. The car then offered a perfect, unrestored original base. Originally it is an American car, during the partial restoration the car is provided with the ‘European’ details. The original odometer was replaced by an odometer in 2008, the odometer reading was demonstrably approximately 109,000 miles at the time of replacement. The odometer that was installed in 2008 had a mileage of 0, so since then approximately 11,000 kilometers have been driven by car. The car is well documented and provided with a photo report during the partial restoration. At the time of the partial restoration, various technical aspects of the car were also upgraded, such as LED lighting, the injection system and the road holding / suspension.

Exterior

The body of the car is in overall neat and rust-free condition, many of the original details are still present such as the spot welds in the wheel arches and the original sills. The car is very neat in the paint. As can be seen in the photos, all panels close neatly. The car stands on a pair of very neat, original, cloverleaf rims with good tires. Both the chrome and all rubbers were completely replaced during the partial restoration in 2020.

Interior

The interior is in very neat condition. The leather was renewed during the partial restoration in 2020. The seats are good and have not sagged. The seats are equipped with headrests. The door panels and the headliner of the car are in very good condition. The dashboard cover is in original condition. The dashboard is in beautiful original and untouched condition, the original radio is still present in the uncut dashboard, but it is no longer in operation. An upgraded modern audio system has been installed in the centre console, incl. speakers and bluetooth functionalities.

Technical

The powerful original, matching numbers, B20 with DJetronic injection system, in combination with the manual four-speed gearbox with overdrive, easily travels in daily traffic. The engine is in original but very good condition. The engine is in technically good condition, delivers very good compression on all cylinders and will still deliver approximately the original power. The suspension has been upgraded and lowered at the front, this can be built back to the original height if desired.

We check all cars through the Lotte Periodic Inspection List (LPK). This list contains more than 50 technical points based on which the car is checked and logged. With this list we are able to give you a clear and transparent picture of this car. The LPK list is available on request for this car.
